The Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger is thrilled that his age hasn't prevented him from securing big Hollywood roles.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 66-year-old actor: ''I feel very honoured that I'm not looked upon as some old guy who is over the hill. That can happen to actors very quickly.''

Schwarzenegger who is set to reprise his role as the titular cyborg in Terminator: Genesis, added: ''I never thought that all of the studios would come back and ask me to play these characters again.

''To play the Terminator again, or to ask me to do Triplets with Danny DeVito and Eddie Murphy, is very unusual.''
