Michael Douglas has revealed that everything is "going great" in his relationship with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The 69-year-old actor and his 44-year-old wife announced their separation last year after 13 years together, however recent reports have suggested the couple were working hard on getting their marriage back on track.
The couple arrived together for the opening night of director pal Steven Soderbergh's off-Broadway play in New York last month, and now Douglas reveals they are focusing on mending their relationship.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight Douglas said: "I think you're always working it (the relationship) out. But we're doing great. We're very close and everything's going great.
"Sometimes we spend more effort with people that are strangers than the people that are closest to us and you just gotta remember not to take for granted the people that are closest to you."
