Bonnie "Prince" Billy returns

Singer and sometime actor Bonnie "Prince" Billy aka Will Oldham has announced a gig for The Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire for August 29. 

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 9, priced €26.00 and bookings can be made on 01-2312929 and via paviliontheatre.ticketsolve.com.

Known for his "do-it-yourself punk aesthetic and blunt honesty", Oldham's music ranges across Americana, folk, roots, country, punk, and indie rock and he has been a regular visitor to Ireland over the years.

His recent projects include the EP Now Heres My Plan, Will Oldham on Bonnie "Prince" Billy (an autobiography edited by Alan Licht), as well as two singles with Billy F. Gibbons and Matt entitled Oh Well and Christmas Eve Can Kill with Dawn McCarthy.

In 2007, Oldham starred alongside Zach Galifianakis in the alternate music video for Kanye West's Can't Tell Me Nothing and had a small part in Jackass 3D as a gorilla trainer 

Bonnie also released a full length record of duets with McCarthy on Drag City and a self-titled Bonnie "Prince" Billy album. He also created a signature scent with Sanae Intoxicants.
