Jerry Seinfeld's webseries Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has been renewed for four more seasons.

Each episode sees the legendary comic interview celebrities - such as Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Alec Baldwin, David Letterman, Sarah Silverman and Howard Stern - in vintage cars.

Crackle streams the acclaimed webseries, and had already ordered seasons four and five to air later in the year.

The website and sponsor Acura have now confirmed that a further 24 episodes have been ordered.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has attracted more than 40 million streams since it first appeared in 2012.

The series was promoted across the USA during the 2014 Super Bowl with a Seinfeld reunion sketch in a heavily-hyped advertisement.
