Rapper The Game has revealed that he is working on a new album with singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran.
The 23-year-old Sing singer and 34-year-old rapper, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, have already started recording songs for the new collection, which could be released by the end of the year.
Speaking to MTV The Game revealed: "I'm working on a joint album with Ed Sheeran that we are trying to drop probably at the end of the year [or the] beginning of 2015. That is gonna be crazy.
"He tweeted something about Jesus Piece [The Game's 2012 album]. I responded, we exchanged numbers on the DM, and then we got in the studio.
"We were just planning to record one song; we ended up doing like seven.
"Ed came up with the idea to start working on a joint album, and we started doing it. That was, like, in five hours. We was just going. He was on that guitar. Acoustically, he's a genius, man, so when he does that, what comes out of me is songs like Dreams and Hate It or Love It and My Life."
The Game added: "The songs that we got, they're real songs. And I can't wait for people to hear 'em."
Sheeran will release his second studio album X on June 23. Sing, the first single from the new album is set to be released on June 1.
