Love/Hate and Fair City actors are currently shooting independent Irish horror The Devil's Woods in Summerhill, Co. Meath.

Starring Stephen Cromwell (Love/Hate, The Late Men), Jack Taylor (Love/Hate, The Legend of Longwood), Eoin Quinn (Fair City, Limp) and Aoife King (Forgiving Amy, Family), the movie centres on four friends who stop at a small town in the middle of rural Ireland on their way to a music festival.

However, this seemingly idyllic country town is darkened by a history of strange events. Writer and director Anthony White says the film is an unusual take on the "youth camp in the woods" setting.

The tagline runs: "A group of friends trying to repair their strained relationships decide to spend the weekend camping at a music festival. En route they stop off at a small town in the middle of rural Ireland.

"However, this seemingly idyllic country town is darkened by a history of strange events. Can a town that is inherently evil literally tear them apart? Can they survive... The Devil's Woods."

The Devil’s Woods is set for completion summer 2014.
