One Direction quashed rumours that they will split, with Mullingar boy Niall Horan assuring fans that they'll stick around as long as they have their support.
Harry Styles told The Sun newspaper, "We always hear rumours about us splitting - but we're not. We've already started recording our fourth album."
Horan added, "The fact we have an album coming should put these rumours to bed. We're here for as long as the fans want us."
The rumours began when the boy band took a break for a few months before embarking on their Where We Are stadium tour which led fans to worry that it signalled the beginning of the end for 1D.
They are currently in South America on the first leg of their tour and Horan claims they're as close as ever, "We're really close as a band. It was lovely to have time off, but now it's great to be back together and on the road. We're having a ball."
Liam Payne added, "Coming back together is like the first day of school, we don't want to go into lessons because the social is too much fun."
One Direction's Where We Are Tour comes to Dublin next month.
