Irish charity Global Schoolroom is staging its High Tea for India event, celebrating Indian and Irish culture through art, music, dance, food and tea in Dublin this weekend.

The fundraiser at the chq Building, IFSC on Sunday April 27 from 2pm-5pm is to launch Global Schoolroom's 2014 programme.

Tickets are priced €10 (student), €20 (general admission) and €40 (family ticket).

Global Schoolroom "brings teachers from Ireland together with their global counterparts to build each partner's capacity through the sharing of educational experience, expertise and good practice."

As part of its 2014 work, 25 Irish teachers will travel to Northeast India this summer for the beginning of a new teacher training cycle.
