Oasis star Liam Gallagher and All Saints singer Nicole Appleton are no longer officially married.
The former couple were granted a Decree Nisi at the High Court in London yesterday. Neither were present at the brief hearing.
District Judge Anne Aitken held that a sworn statement from Appleton - in which she stated that Gallagher had "admitted adultery... prior to it becoming publicised in national newspapers" - demonstrated that the marriage had irretrievably broken down.
The 39-year-old singer said in her court documents that she found it "intolerable" to live with Liam Gallagher after he confessed to being unfaithful in July 2013.
She also declared that the woman with whom Gallagher had had an affair with "now has a child" by him.
Appleton's petition was uncontested by Gallagher, who acknowledged in his response that he had admitted adultery to her.
The41-year-old Beady Eye frontman agreed to pay "reasonable costs".
Gallagher and Appleton, who are parents to 12-year-old son Gene, split in July last year, bringing an end to their 13-year relationship.
The musicians married on Valentine's Day 2008.
