Hugh Jackman has revealed that he used to dance to Blurred Lines on the X-Men: Days of Future Past set with co-star Michael Fassbender.

The 45-year-old actor told The Sun newspaper, "Michael was particularly enamoured with the video to Blurred Lines."

He added, "We'd strut about. I used to play the song in between takes on the X-Men set. It was a lot of fun. Everyone would just go into character and we'd be strutting around. It was identical to the video but we'd be mutants."

It wasn't just dancing either, Jackman added that they would sing along to the huge Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams hit, "I didn't need to take the high bits. You'd be surprised what talented singers Michael and James [McEvoy] are. They could get up there."

X-Men: Days of Future Past also stars Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage and Ian McKellan, and is slated for release on May 22.
