The follow-up to Jack White's debut solo album Blunderbuss will be called Lazaretto

Jack White has confirmed that he plans to release a brand new album later this summer.

The former White Stripes’ star will release Lazaretto on June 9 and it's the follow-up to 2012's Blunderbuss, which topped both the UK and US charts.

The album will be preceded by new promotional track High Ball Stepper, which is the first teaser of what fans can expect from the 38-year-old.

The set's first official single will be title song Lazaretto, which is expected to be released later this month.

To celebrate the release of his new album and Third Man's 20th Vault package, White will issue a special limited version of Lazaretto.

It will be Third Man Records' Vault package #20, and the prestige package will come complete with exclusive album art and early demos.

Subscriptions for Third Man Records' Vault package are open until April 30.
