Duhamel says fatherhood changed him

Josh Duhamel has opened up about fatherhood, saying that it has changed his life.

The Safe Haven star and his wife, Black Eyed Pea Fergie, welcomed their first son named Axl Jack in August 2013.

The actor told Parade that his entire life has been changed with the arrival of his firstborn baby.

He said: "It's not about us anymore; it's about all of us: me, Ferg, and the baby.

"We look at ourselves now and we look at our lives before, and it's like, 'Wow, we actually have a family now - this is like a real family'!"

Duhamel also shared the best parts of being a new father, saying: "Getting to see all of those clichés that you hear about from other parents: that it's hard, it's crazy, it's the funniest and most fun thing you'll do,.

The actor continued: "When you get to that six-month mark they really start to do things that are amazing. To anyone else it's like, 'Yeah, your baby's holding his bottle, big deal,' but to us it's like, 'Oh my God, he's holding his bottle now! He's sitting up! He's starting to crawl'!

"He starts to think things are funny and he has a really funny and sweet personality and it's really fun to see that."
