Aslan are set to take to the stage of the Olympia on May 31, 2014. This will be the band's first gig since Christy Dignam's illness.
Dignam (53) was diagnosed with cancer last year after seeking medical help for what was assumed to be a chest infection.
The exciting announcement was made at a press conference in the Gresham Hotel this morning.
RTÉ's Sinéad Crowley tweeted the news, writing: "#aslan to play gig at Olympia 31 May, first one since Christy Dignams illness."
She later tweeted: "#aslan Christy says he feels well and looking forward to gig."
The lads also announced that they have a new single on the way, with Sinéad posting: "#aslan new single on way."
