Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling is attached to produce and possibly star in a new biopic based on the late Hollywood choreographer Busby Berkeley.
The 33-year-old actor is tipped to produce the movie, which is based on Jeffrey Spivak's book Buzz: The Life and Art of Busby Berkeley, with his former Drive producer, Marc Platt.
Berkeley is best known for his involvement with lavish Hollywood musicals during the Great Depression.
His hits include 42 Street, Gold Diggers of 1933, Footlight Parade and Fashions of 1934.
Berkeley died on March 14, 1976 in California at the age of 80.
Gosling is currently working on an untitled musical drama which also features Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett.
