Brittany Murphy's final film, Something Wicked, has been given a release date, four and half years after she passed away.

The actress, who was 32 when she died in December 2009, is said to have completed some of her best work in this movie, which also stars One Tree Hill's Shantel VanSanten and Lords of Dogtown actor John Robinson.

The Clueless star's final project will debut on April 4 (2014) at the Regal Theater in Eugene, Oregon, the city where the movie was filmed, with further release dates in other locations due to be released soon.

Something Wicked is described by producer and screenwriter Joe Colleran as a "hauntingly seductive thriller about obsession and young love gone wrong."

Colleran praised Brittany's performance telling USA Today: "Brittany pulled off one of the spookiest scenes in the movie. There's an important scene where her character is unravelling and she spent a long time getting ready and focused and went for it. Personally, I think it's one of the best scenes of her career."
