Singer Eleanor McEvoy is set to kick off an 11-date Australian tour and her new album, Stuff, is also due for release shortly.
McEvoy begins the tour this Saturday (March) 15 at the Blue Mountains Festival, Katoomba, New South Wales, and ends on Thursday April 10 at Carrington Bowling Club, Newcastle, NSW.
She will also perform at Portalan Greve, Roskilde, Denmark on Wednesday May 14.
“It’s been a wild and wonderful few months,“ the Dublin singer says. “The UK tour was fantastic and I’m delighted to say that my new album, Stuff, is coming out in March or May depending on the territory.
"I need to go and start the packing now, it’s a tricky one as the temperatures will veer from very hot to very cool. I was lamenting my baggage allowance till I remembered astronaut Luca Parmitano tweeting me that his baggage allowance for travelling to the International Space Station was less than two kilos. I guess that puts it into perspective."
