Ballyturk, the new play by Enda Walsh which stars Cillian Murphy, Mikel Murfi and Stephen Rea, is to receive its world premiere at this year's Galway Arts Festival.
Landmark Productions and the Galway Arts Festival announced on Thursday March 6 that the play would run at the city's Black Box Theatre from July 10 to 27, with the world premiere taking place on July 14.
The organisations have described Ballyturk as "gut-wrenchingly funny and achingly sad", with "jaw-dropping moments of physical comedy".
Murphy, Murfi and Walsh previously worked together on Walsh's Misterman at the Galway Arts Festival.
Commenting on his new work, Walsh said: "I'm delighted to have been given the opportunity of reuniting with friends and making this new piece, Ballyturk, at this summer's Galway Arts Festival.
"Two years in its dreaming and making, come July it will be a very exciting moment for all of us to share this production with the Festival audience."
