The Battles continue

Last night on The Voice of Ireland five more battles took place with contestants vying to win a place in the upcoming live shows.

Coach Dolores O’Riordan had two battles last night firstly having to decide between Jamie Stanton from Cork and Michelle Revins from Tipperary with Michelle just pipping it for Dolores. But all was not lost last night for Jamie with Bressie stepping in to steal him saying “Everything else becomes irrelevant when you have that big moment and you had it when your two voices came together and you went full voice you took the roof off...Jamie, I didn’t see that coming man.”

Dolores also had to choose between Galway’s Mariah Butler and Sean Sunderland from Clondakin with Country singer Mariah winning out.

Kian Egan had to choose between Christopher Stoodley from Tipperary and Craig McMorrow from Leitrim. He chose to take Craig through to the live shows.

Jamelia’s battle featured Emma Collins from Tipperary and Remy Naidoo from Dublin with Remy winning the battle.

And finally Bressie put Dublin’s Paddy Molloy and Wexford’s Padraig Byrne into battle. The coach wasn’t overly impressed with either performance but chose to put Padraig through.
