On the eve of the Oscars Gary Barlow performed at movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's Academy Award Nominees Dinner.

The Take That star last night (Mar 1) sang a selection of songs from Weinstein's upcoming musical Finding Neverland, a project he was involved in as co-writer of music and lyrics.

Barlow was joined on stage by West End star Laura Michelle Kelly, as well as English songwriter Eliot Kennedy and former Seinfeld star Jason Alexander.

Celebrities in attendance at the pre-Oscar party included Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Bono, Robert De Niro and Sienna Miller.

Also at the star-studded event were Barlow's former X Factor colleague Nicole Scherzinger, Taylor Swift, Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian.

12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen attended the party, while the Oscar-nominated film's lead star Chiwetel Ejiofor also made an appearance.

The 2014 Oscars will be held tonight (Mar 2), hosted by Ellen DeGeneres live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
