Johnny Depp has asked his old mucker Shane MacGowan to help him find a London pub he can turn into a live music venue.
According to The Sun, Depp has called on The Pogues' frontman in his search for a suitable venue in the Islington and Shepherd's Bush areas of London.
"It’ll be the kind of place for up-and-coming bands and occasionally a big name act will do a low-key gig," a source told The Sun.
“He loves jamming with Shane and Shane knows London, so has been helping him when it comes to potential venues.”
This won't be the first time the pair have collaborated. 50-year-old Depp, who has a keen interest in music, was credited with "guitar weird noises" on the track That Woman's Got Me Drinking from Shane's 1994 solo album, The Snake.
In 2012 they recorded a version of The Leaving Of Liverpool for a compilation CD.
