It has been announced that Amanda Seyfried is to star in Ted 2 alongside Mark Wahlberg, while Mila Kunis is to have a much smaller role.
The comedy sequel has once again been written by Seth McFarlane, who will also serve as the director and the voice of the eponymous teddy bear.
Deadline.com reports that 28-year-old Seyfried will have a major role, while Kunis, who played the female lead in the original, will have much less screen time.
Deadline also reports that this is purely a creative decision from MacFarlane and he and Kunis remain good friends. The actress continues to voice Meg in MacFarlane's Family Guy.
Ted grossed over $540 million at the worldwide box office upon its release in 2012. Ted 2 is expected to release on June 26, 2015.
