Ross O'Carroll Kelly creator Paul Howard may become involved in a new musical about the Dublin night club Copper Face Jacks.

The Coppers show is the idea of Darren Smith, creator of Anglo: The Musical. Speaking on Newstalk, Irish Sun showbiz editor Ken Sweeney said that Smith hopes Howard will work with him on the script as he did with Anglo.

Sweeney told Newstalk (via Daily Edge): "It would be on the eve of an all Ireland-final where Dubs and rural supporters would meet in Copper Face Jacks in a kind of West Side Story scenario."

However, it may be a while until the musical hits the stage as the project is still in development.
