Lupita Nyong'o wows in Dior at BAFTAs

Lupita Nyong'o stole the show at this year's BAFTA Awards in a strapless emerald green Dior ballgown.

Take a look at our gallery of the red carpet style here.

The actress failed to pick up the Best Supporting Actress award for her breakout role in 12 Years a Slave, losing out to Jennifer Lawrence (American Hustle). However, she continued her red carpet domination in this show-stopping gown.

The dress featured a structured bodice and voluminous skirt, while a gold belt and matching cuffs finished off the modern and elegant look.

American Hustle star Amy Adams went for a more conservative look in a black floor-sweeping Victoria Beckham gown, which featured sheer panelling at the bodice and a collar.

Cate Blanchett, who won the Best Actress award for Blue Jasmine, looked effortlessly elegant in an Alexander McQueen column dress, which she paired with Roger Vivier shoes, and Chopard jewels.

Uma Thurman was equally stunning in a form-fitting Atelier Versace dress. This understated gown was perfectly complemented with Chopard jewellery and a loose upstyle.

Angelina Jolie broke from tradition in a Saint Laurent suit, pairing the tuxedo-style look with black court heels.

Fearne Cotton provided a welcome pop of colour on the red carpet in a vintage Scaasi long-sleeve gown which oozed Hollywood glamour. She completed the glamorous look with a voluminous, teased and curled hairstyle.

Lily Allen made a memorable red carpet appearance in an orange and pink Vivienne Westwood Couture creation. She accessorised this loud number with an unusual pink hairpiece.

Olga Kurylenko paid tribute to British fashion in a beautiful black and copper Burberry dress which featured a snakeskin pattern and cut-out detailing.
