Following the success of Magic Mike, Channing Tatum is currently working on a sequel.

The actor revealed on Facebook that he is writing the sequel using a bust of Mathew McConaghey's character Dallas, for inspiration!

He wrote: "What better way to start writing #MagicMike2 than with my old friend Dallas? #runatribe

Tatum is also planning on getting into his usual chiselled shape for the role as he told Ellen DeGeneres recently that he is "Fappy", adding that he and his wife use the phrase to describe when you are: "…very fat and happy right now".

He said that he gained some weight since his daughter Everly was born eight months ago.

Alex Pettyfer who played Adam in the original, has said that Tatum may also direct the sequel: "Channing is such a talented man. I don't need to say that, everyone one knows that. He's a smart business man. He'll do whatever he thinks is necessary for the film."
