Run & Jump, the new Irish comedy-drama from director Steph Green and writer Ailbhe Keogan, receives its North American release in cinemas and on VOD platforms today, Friday January 24.
Winner of the Silver Spike Feature Award at the Valladolid International Film Festival, Best First Feature at the New York Irish Film Festival and Best Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh, Run & Jump tells the story of a young family re-adjusting after the father suffers a stroke.
It stars Maxine Peake (Silk, Shameless), Edward MacLiam (Holby City) and Will Forte (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live).
Shot over a six-week period in Wicklow and Kerry, Run & Jump was part-funded by RTÉ and has been released in North America by Sundance Selects, the sister division of IFC Films.
Director and co-writer Green said: "Sundance Selects' renowned reputation and association with quality independent films and filmmakers is well established. It's tremendous that Run & Jump will be introduced to American audiences under their prestigious banner."
