Chris Noth is ''doubtful'' about Sex and the City 3 but ''supposes'' he would reprise his role as Mr Big if there is more of a story to tell.
Speaking at the National Television Awards in London, 59-year-old Noth told BANG Showbiz: ''I don't know anything about it. I haven't heard a thing about it.''
When asked if he would sign up for a third Sex and the City outing, he said: ''I suppose. Really, it's doubtful [it'll happen]. For some reason that particular rumour likes to pop up a lot. They say that every year so I don't think about it too much. Maybe it'll happen.''
Chris further explained that he holds the "timing" of the second movie which was based in Abu Dhabi down to its negative reviews.
He added: ''I think it was the timing. We were in the beginning of a bad recession. I think they took the show out of New York City, which is the heart of what that show is, along with the girls. And I think the dalliance in the Middle East, it struck the wrong chord at that time. I think it was unfairly maligned, but it was timing, I think.''
