Jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal, whose music appears on the soundtrack of The Wolf of Wall Steet, has been talking to RTÉ Ten about his 60-year career and his upcoming date in Dublin.

83-year-old Jamal was a friend of Miles Davis and has also had his music featured in Clint Eastwood film The Bridges of Madison County. He plays his first gig in Ireland in ten years when he returns to Vicar Street on January 24.

In an interview with Ten, Jamal talks about Miles, Clint, and how he deals with sampling of his work by artists such as Jay-z and John Legend.
