Bound 2 rapper Kanye West is installing a panic room in his Los Angeles mansion to ensure the safety of fiance Kim Kardashian and baby North, according to a report.

According to The Sun newspaper, the 'safe room' comes equipped with monitors connected to security cameras and a high-tech alarm system to notify police offers in case of an emergency.

The celebrity couple reportedly spent $1.154 million on six luxury beds and enlisted the services of The Savoir Royal State Beds - the same company which supplies beds for the five-star, luxury hotel The Savoy in London.

It is further reported that Kim and Kanye splashed out $750,000 on four gold-plated toilets, a Swarovski-encrusted fridge freezer,  a cinema and a full-size basketball court attached to their home.
