The Kinks may be gearing towards a 50th anniversary reunion according to bandmate brothers Ray and Dave Davies.
The group haven't played together since 1996 due to personal conflict between the brothers but the pair revealed to Uncut magazine that a reunion is very much on the cards.
Ray said, "I'd like something good to come out of it, not something sad. I'd like to do something sensible, artistic and dignified. There's every possibility it could happen, if people behave, or misbehave at the appropriate moment."
Dave added, "We got together in August and the first few days were beautiful. We went up the pub and had a few Guinnesses and we were talking about all kind of s***, the old days and what-ifs. I said to Ray I thought that it'd be a great shame if we don't try and do something."
