Irish webseries Cuckoo nominated for three awards

Cuckoo, a 28-minute Irish webseries is nominated for 3 awards in the International Academy of Web Television Awards (IAWTV) to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 7th 2014.

The 28-minute drama, which was originally commissioned as part of RTÉ’s Storyland series and went on to win a nomination for Best Online Drama at the 2013 Webby Awards, follows Irish teenager Niamh Keegan after she recognizes herself in a digitally aged photo of a missing child.

Directed by Dannan Breathnach and adapted from an original story by Nikki Raklin, Cuckoo was produced by Marie Caffrey at Zanzibar Films.

Aer Lingus are currently screening Cuckoo on all transatlantic flights for December 2013 and January 2014 as part of The Gathering.
