Former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan has dismissed reports suggesting they the newly reformed band, Mutya Keisha Siobhan, have been dropped from their record label after their comeback release failed to do well in the charts.

The 29-year-old Push the Button singer insists that the low chart position of their debut single, Flatline, which was released in September, was expected as the band decided against a promotional tour.

Speaking to Nme.com, Keisha denied claims that label bosses at Polydor have dropped them, saying: "We're still with Polydor. 100 per cent. For us we weren't expecting the single to chart...

"If we'd done more TV and there had been more promotion around us then we definitely would have had a bigger single. But it did what we wanted it to do... For us, I mean I'm not gonna say chart position isn't important, but we are about the album."

Mutya Keisha Siobhan are currently preparing to unveil their debut album early next year.
