Hugh Jackman treated for skin cancer

Actor Hugh Jackman has been treated for skin cancer after his wife encouraged him to get a growth on his nose examined.

He revealed the news on his Instagram account on Thursday saying “Deb (Deborra-Lee Furness) said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy she was right.” He added a picture which showed him with a plaster on his nose.

The Wolverine star has encourage people to make sure to check if they have similar worries saying “Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked!.”

He also encouraged people to use sunscreen. PageSix report that Jackman was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma.
