I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Kian Egan has revealed that behind the scenes, Westlife were not as clean cut as people thought.

While speaking to his campmates, Egan said that although they were hard-working in the band, they also knew how to have a good time.

He explained: "The funny thing is that people say you're all so clean cut, but we were not really that clean cut. We go out on the rip, fall over the place and get drunk and go out real late and drink a good amount of alcohol between all of us."

Egan added: "For the first few years we were first class lunatics when it came to going out, but if we had something important the next day, we wouldn't do it. Or if it was going to affect what we were doing, because we cherished what we had.

"That was the big thing for us. And when Brian left the band, that made us cherish it even more, because we were like, 'Oh my God, it could all be over', and it wasn't over and we made it work again. And then we had little dips and then You Raise Me Up came and boom, and then another little dip came and then we had What About Now."

The singer also said that he would never rule out a future reunion with Westlife.

He said: "Never say never. I think everybody needs to do what we're doing now. Just doing stuff on your own rather than being a member of a band."
