Colin Farrell has described the script for the upcoming Warcraft movie as "amazing".
The actor has not officially signed up for the Duncan Jones video game adaptation but has admitted to reading the script and has spoken very highly of it.
Farrell told IGN: "I sat with Duncan for a while and read the script, loved the script, and he was as cool as can be. I don't know what's happening with the film. I don't know where they are in the process.
"The script was just really, really cool, and it's just a world that I never explored – and it's a really big and fantastical world."
He added: "I can't imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on [2009 film] Moon with, like, a dime, I can't imagine what he'd do with this Warcraft."
Blizzard Entertainment revealed at BlizzCon that the film will focus on the first interactions between orcs and humans and is set for a December 2015 release.
