Ryan Tubridy "can't wait" for Bring Them Home campaign

Following on from the success of last year’s Bring Them Home campaign, 2fm's Tubridy and RTÉ One's The Late Late Show will once again reunite families for Christmas.

Supermac, who initiated last year’s campaign, which was launched on last night’s Late Late Show are back once again to help bring families and friends together for the festive season.

People who are living abroad are able to nominate themselves to be brought home for Christmas and The Late Late Show viewers will have the chance to win tickets to visit family members living abroad in 2014.

Plus listeners to 2fm’s Tubridy show can nominate family or friends to be brought home for Christmas.

Speaking about the campaign, Tubridy said: “It was one of the most heart warming moments of my broadcasting career to see families reunited after a long time apart, the looks on the faces of the relatives arriving here and those welcoming them home was pure magic. I can't wait to do it again this year!”

Pat McDonagh, Managing Director of Supermac’s added: “We’re delighted to be helping Irish people located all over the world enjoy Christmas with those they love at home in Ireland.

“I hear numerous stories throughout the year of Irish people leaving the country to find work, which is a tough decision and a difficult road at times when they are away from those closest to them.

"We had such a positive response to last year’s campaign and brought joy to so many families we knew it had to become an annual drive.

"Supermac’s has always focused on bringing families together and, with the cost of flights at their highest during the festive period, this is something we’re able to do to help our customers on a wider international scale.”
