James Corden has criticised The X Factor's new flash-vote addition to the show.

Speaking to Alan Carr on Chatty Man, Corden said he would prefer if they didn’t change the format of the show to include the flash-vote.

“We should judge it! I love the show but I wish they would stop messing around with it.”

He continued, “I am not a fan of this flash-vote ********. I love deadlock. When the judges don’t vote and go, ‘I obstain’, I’m like, ‘Shut up, you’re paid millions to judge.”

Corden used to be in a boyband when he was younger and revealed to Carr his ideal boyband lineup. He would take Gary Barlow, Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block, Justin Timberlake, Westlife’s Shane Filan and One Direction’s Harry Styles.

The One Chance star has previously said that he thinks Styles is extremely talented and likened him to Timberlake as there “is nothing he cannot do.”
