It was another one of Sharon Osbourne’s acts who was voted off the X Factor last night with Osbourne’s pleas to fellow judge Louis Walsh falling on deaf ears.

Shelley Smith’s rendition of Sam Brown’s hit Stop! did not win over the judges last night with Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger all voting to save boy band Kingsland Road after the sing off.

In an effort to win over Walsh Osbourne pleaded with him to save Smith saying "Please, please, I'll do anything" to which Walsh replied "Sharon, you know I love you, but the act I'm sending home is Shelley."

Afterwards 35-year-old Smith said "I just want to say thank you to everybody at X Factor, because I've had the time of my life."

Kingsland Road had performed Pink’s song Try after they found out on Saturday night that they would be singing for survival.

Over the weekend the show featured singing performances from Katy Perry and Robin Thicke.
