Last year’s X Factor winner James Arthur isn’t a fan of Gary Barlow’s current protégés Kingsland Road.

The singer tweeted that the boyband make him cringe and isn't good enough to be on the show.

He also tweeted that they don’t live up to other boybands out there at the moment, claiming they aren't as good as One Direction, Union J or Lawson.

James Arthur’s debut album is set for a November 4 release with the single You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You out on October 20.

The X Factor continues on Saturday at 8pm on UTV and TV3.
