Netflix is to start work on a brand new psychological thriller which will join its original programming line-up alongside House of Cards, Hemlock Grove and Orange is the New Black.
The 13-part-show will be called Drama and will follow the lives of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home. The show has been created by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler, who also worked on Damages.
Speaking to Variety Cindy Holland, VP of Original Content for Netflix said: "We were spellbound after hearing Todd, Glenn and Daniel’s pitch, and knew Netflix was the perfect home for this suspenseful family drama that is going to have viewers on the edge of their seats.
“Their work on Damages was truly ahead of its time and we’re proud to be bringing our viewers this upcoming series.”
Drama will start filming early next year.
