An average of 880,000 viewers tuned in for episode two of Love/Hate's fourth season on Sunday October 13.

The episode enjoyed a 50% share, compared to 36% for episode two of series three, which had an average of 671,000 viewers.

In one scene last night Peter Coonan's Fran was involved in a vicious fight in a pub toilet in which his character lost a couple of teeth. The actor has explained that there was no camera trickery involved in the scene as an accident when he was a child meant he is missing one of his front teeth so he just had to pop his dentures out to create the look.

The series continues next Sunday night on RTÉ One at 9.30.
