Absolutely Fabulous creator and star Jennifer Saunders has said that, despite keen interest, a movie adaptation of the popular TV show will "never happen".
Speaking to Glamour magazine about the possibility of the hit BBC comedy starring herself and Joanna Lumley adapting for the big screen, the 55-year-old said: "It'll never happen.
"We've been talking about it for so long and now I've just got this feeling that Ab Fab is in such a nice place now - if we made the film there would be such a danger that we could ruin it."
Saunders who played Edina Monsoon and co-star Joanna Lumley who played Patsy Stone reprised their roles for a number of Absolutely Fabulous specials, including a 2012 Olympics-themed episode.
However fans may still have something to look forward to as BBC executive Shane Allen said earlier this year that the "door is always open for more Ab Fab".
