Britney Spears has quashed reports that she will not be singing live during her upcoming Las Vegas residency, insisting she "always sings live".
The 31-year-old mum of two has hit back at rumours that she is planning to record all her vocals for upcoming Sin City shows.
Speaking to a Chicago radio station Britney insisted that she always sings live. The Toxic hitmaker said: "I'm definitely going to be singing live. I always sing live. It doesn't sound so great all the time, but I do my best."
Britney's comments come in response to a report that her team had made the crew on her new show sign confidentiality agreements, and that they were handed a detailed 'cheat sheet' with strict instructions about to respond to concerns or queries from the public ahead of the star's, Britney: Piece of Me, show at the Planet Hollywood Hotel.
The source apparently said: "We have been given a sheet which gives answers to questions that potential customers and such may ask when they book, like whether or not Britney will be singing live ... The answers are twisted and far from the truth."
The insider added: "At the moment, she's set to pre-record vocals to use on stage rather than sing live."
However Britney's manager Larry Rudolph was also quick to refute the claims and said this new show will prove what an incredible performer Britney is. He added: "She does choreography and vocal coaching every day."
