Wexford band Cry Before Dawn are set to play two dates in Dublin’s Button Factory and the Spiegeltent in Wexford town on October 11th and 23rd, respectively.
The band’s recent live album, Live at the Opera House was recorded over two nights in Wexford, at the beginning of the band's return to live gigs, in May 2011. That month also saw a triumphant Vicar Street performance.
The live record was produced and mixed by the band’s current guitarist, Steve Belton, formerly of eighties band, The Fountainhead.
Cry Before Dawn are Brendan Wade, vocals, tin whistle, pipes; Vinnie Doyle, bass and vocals; Pat Hayes, drums; Dara Munnis, keyboards and Steve Belton, lead guitar.
Their greatest hits include Gone Forever, Girl in the Ghetto, The Seed That's Been Sown, No Living Without You and Witness for the World.
They play The Button Factory on Friday, October 11th with tickets princed €25 (available from Ticketmaster and usual outlets and Wexford Spiegeltent Festival on Wednesday, October 23rd. Standing tickets are priced €23.50.
