The RTÉ Big Music Week Train, continued its journey across the country today visiting Co Mayo and Co Leitrim.

The train started the day in Westport where Marty Whelan hosted his Lyric fm breakfast show from the station. Guests included Declan O’Rourke, Brendan Graham and Laoise Kelly.

Events then moved to the Landmark Hotel in Carrick on Shannon where there was a morning coffee session with Charlie McGettigan and friends.

This afternoon RTÉ Radio One’s Rising Time’s Shay Byrne hosted a public interview and acoustic session with Nathan Carter

And this evening will see a Big Music Week Country and Western concert at the Landmark featuring Robert Mizzell, Louise Morrissey and Patrick Feeney.
