Cartman gets into the NSA in the season 17 opener of South Park

Long-running animated comedy South Park returns to Comedy Central in the UK tonight (October 2nd) after a year-long break - and for satellite subscribers in Ireland.

The 17th season of the irreverent series begins with Eric Cartman infiltrating the US intelligence organisation the NSA in an episode titled Let Go, Let Gov, which airs tonight at 10.00pm.

The plot synopsis reads: "When Cartman manages to get himself behind the doors of the NSA, he doesn't like what he finds in his personal file and thinks it's high time he told everyone the truth, by joining the social media phenomenon that is 'S**tter', a brand new app that enables users to beam their thoughts directly from their head straight to the internet, surely nothing can go wrong?"
