James Franco has said he would be interested in starring in a Spring Breakers prequel.
The 35-year-old actor who played rapper-turned-gangster Alien in the American drama film, which featured Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, explained that he would be up for making a prequel to the movie.
Speaking to MTV News, Franco said: "Harmony [director] and I are certainly going to do something else together. I don't think Harmony really wants do to Spring Breakers 2.
"He's not the one who's been talking about it. Although, when we were making the movie, there was talk of a prequel."
He added: "My character and Gucci Mane's character were supposed to have been former friends, so we at one time talked about, 'What was that like? Let's make that movie!' So there's that.
"There's a prequel version, or there's the version of Alien's friend or something. I don't know."
