Former Incredible Hulk actor, Lou Ferrigno has said that his performance as the Marvel Comics anti-hero was the best one and that nobody could play the Hulk as he did.
In an interview with The LA Times, the retired bodybuilder said: "The truth is, I've been the Hulk my whole life. The Hulk was the beginning of me, a platform as an actor to grow.
"I don't think anybody else can play the Hulk like I could. I was able to show emotions even with all of the makeup. I don't think it can be duplicated."
The 61-year-old actor played Dr David Banner's alter ego in the CBS TV show between 1977 and 1982. Eric Bana, Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo have all played the part in movie versions of the comic strip.
