Boy George has helped Gavin & Stacey star James Corden to slim down.

The Culture Club star recently shed 56 pounds (25 kilograms) by adopting a healthy diet, and Corden was so impressed with the singer's results that he asked him for some advice.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Corden said: "I came back from New York where I'd been eating quite a bit and had put on a few pounds.

"I saw Boy George looking amazing, absolutely unbelievable, and messaged him asking for the number of his nutritionist. I got in touch with her and she put me on this diet plan, working out which foods do and don't suit me. It's not rocket science - basically don't eat cake, don't eat bread.

"It's not particularly drastic or uber-scientific. The basic principle is that I eat a little bit less and move a little bit more. They send me meals to eat every day and although I'm not meant to weigh myself, I've probably lost about a stone and a half. Having said that, I'm talking to you now eating a piece of toast......"

James, is currently filming Hollywood movie Into The Woods alongside Meryl Streep.
