Eminem has announced that he will be releasing a new album this November. MMLP2 stands for Marshal Mathers LP 2 and it's the sequel to his 2000 album Marshal Mathers LP.

The recent Slane headliner made the announcement at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards via a new advert for Beats by Dr Dre headphones.

The 16-second clip featured a short preview of Eminem’s new single Berzerk and revraled that the new album is produced by Dr Dre and Rick Rubin.

Following the album announcement, Eminem’s website stated that Berzerk will be released on August 27th.

The soon to be 40 rapper hinted at the new releases on Twitter writing: “Guess who’s REALLY back #VMAs” and posting a photo for the VMA awards.

MMPL2 will be the Eminem’s eight studio album and his first since 2010’s Grammy Award-winning Recovery.
