Dublin-bound rapper Lil Wayne is inviting Irish rappers to open at the o2 this October.

The Louisiana hip hop star says he wants to see homegrown MCs on stage for the show and is calling for local rappers who reckon they're up for it to take a shot.

Here's how to enter:

1. Record your best rap to video and upload to Youtube. It can be acappella or with backing instruments and it can be solo or as part of a group.

2. Private message your You Tube link to the FM104 Frank Jez Facebook page here

DJ Frank Jez will chair a panel of judges including DJ Kaila Troy, Dj Ahmed and Noel Mc Hale from promoters MCD who will check out all the entries and pick the top six acts to go through to a live final at the Hoodie Allen Show at The Academy on September 1st.

All six finalists will be announced on Frank Jez: The Big Urban Mix Show on Saturday, August 31st.

The finalists get the chance to open for Hoodie Allen and the overall winner goes on to open for Lil Wayne.

Closing date for entries is Friday August 30th at 5pm.
